Is your bulky item or appliance still in working order? If so, consider donating it to Lowell Wish (“From Your Attic to a Needy Home” – www.lowellwishproject.org), located in Lowell , MA . Another option is to join our local Freecycle™ organization and offer your item to someone who could put it to good use.
In order to dispose of bulky items, a $15.00 sticker must be purchased either at the Board of Health office Monday-Thursday, 8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M., and Friday, 8:30 A.M. -12:30 P.M., or by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope with proper payment to:

Tyngsborough, MA 01879.The sticker must be attached to each bulky item according to the following list and set out curbside on the appropriate day of pickup. If your item is not listed, the Board of Health will determine at their discretion into which category the item best fits.
