RECYCLE: catalogs; corrugated cardboard (packing boxes); junk mail; magazines; newspapers & inserts; office paper; paperboard (cereal/shoe boxes, etc.); phone books; shredded paper, and any cardboard paper that is not food soiled.


PREPARE: Place in brown paper bags or recycling container (weight limit 50lbs.). Staples and windows in window envelopes are ok to leave. Pack into cereal or packing boxes.

Cut or fold all cardboard into 30"x30" bundles. Flattened cardboard can be disposed of in one of two dedicated cardboard containers located in the satellite parking areas at the Tyngsborough Middle School or the Tyngsborough Elementary School.

Shredded paper must be in a closed paper bag. An industrial shredder is available for public use at the Town Hall meeting room during regular business hours.


DO NOT RECYCLE: food soiled paper or boxes; paper clips; plastic bags; wire binders

PLASTIC

aseptic containers (juice/milk); block styrofoam; flower pots; motor oil & chemical containers; packing peanuts; plastic bags, bottlecaps & tableware

GLASS

PREPARE: Rinse clean. Labels can stay on. Metal caps should be removed.
DO NOT RECYCLE: broken glass; ceramics; dinnerware; drinking glasses; light bulbs; mirrors; Pyrex; window glass

METAL
