WHITE ITEM DISPOSAL

Beginning July 1, 2008 the Town of Tyngsborough will not sell stickers for the disposal of white items and metal. The Town of Tyngsborough is a part of an eight town coalition and has reached an agreement with Appliance Recyclers, 31 Douglas Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803. The toll free number is 877-228-2898 Residents are directed to call the toll free number to arrange for curbside pickup of the following items. The fee will be paid directly to Appliance Recyclers.

White Goods with Freon $12.00

White Goods without Freon $10.00

Large CRT’s, televisions and other monitors with 27”
screen or greater $20.00

Small CRT’s, televisions and other monitors with a
smaller electronics category including CRT’s 12” or
less, laptops, flat monitors (any size) $ 5.00

Tires $5.00

Other: metal storage sheds, metal bulkheads, furnaces,
boilers, radiators, lawn mowers (push or riding) snow
blowers, treadmills, wood stoves, garage door openers,
grille, exercise equipment, metal file cabinets, doors,
swing sets, metal lawn furniture, fencing, and other
similar metal items $10.00

Stickers will continue to be sold at the Board of Health Office for all other bulky items such as furniture, etc. Any questions, please call the Board of Health Office at 978-649-2300 Ext. 118.
